Join us for community-based, relaxed and affordable yoga. We encourage people of all ages and fitness levels to attend our classes and we create a welcoming environment for everyone to practice in.
What is Yoga?
Yoga is a combination of poses, otherwise known as asanas, that stretch and strengthen the body to relax and/or invigorate the body and mind. In yoga, students learn to coordinate different bodily movements with breath or 'pranayama' and focus to facilitate physical, mental and emotional development.
Yoga at Dr Earth
In Dr Earth Yoga classes, you can expect to begin the class with meditation, breathing exercises, or gentle yoga poses, before continuing on to develop your strength and flexibility by working the whole body through a sequence of poses. To finish, stretching, more meditation and breath-work can be expected, before you are guided into blissful relaxation.
